I started my career in real estate in 1984, working for one of the large brokerages in the area.  While there I learned all aspects of the real estate industry and obtained my brokers license.

In 1994 I started my real estate company. Owning my own business was a lifelong dream, and so Buyers Real Estate Group was born!! Together with my business partner, Mary Rugani, we have built a company with a strong, positive reputation of experienced agents that are exclusively representing the best interest of their buyers. 

The Road to Real Estate

After graduating from the University of North Dakota, I spent 15 years teaching in the St. Louis Park School district. During that time one of several classes that I taught was Interior Design and Housing. In 1982, I received a Master of Education, with an emphasis on Housing.

Real Estate seemed like a natural progression for me. I had the interest and expertise in housing and found that my teaching experience made me a better real estate agent, especially for home buyers. From the first meeting, throughout the search for a home, the home inspections, negotiating the purchase agreement, even after the closing I work with my buyers to provide information and answer questions, so the buyer can make an informed decision.

Real Estate Qualifications

I have several designations, Certified Buyers Representative, Accredited Buyers Representative, Member of NAEBA (National Association of Exclusive Buyers Agents) as well as a member of local and national Realtors associations.

During my 25+ years in real estate, I have helped buyers in all stages of housing needs, first time buyers, move up buyers, empty nest buyers, relocation in and out of the Metro area, and investors.
